What should I expect from an appointment at Blush Bridal?

    At Blush Bridal, you can expect an individualized experience with your own personal consultant, dressing room and seating area, and our undivided attention. Our consultants will help you with everything from explaining how our showroom is organized, to getting in the dress and making sure you see every detail!  We carry a wide variety of styles from our designers, however we do not carry every style pictured on their website as that could be very overwhelming for you to choose from.  If there is a specific dress on a designer's website that you absolutely love, ask your consultant during your appointment about trying on something similar, or options for being able to try that specific dress. 

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in? 

   Blush Bridal considers client service and satisfaction our highest priority, which is why we operate by appointment only. To best serve our brides and their parties, Blush Bridal allows for up to 4 guests, plus the bride.

What sizes do you carry?

   The bridal gowns available in our showroom range from size 8 (size 4 pant) to size 26 (size 24 pant). For our Bridesmaids selection, we have sizes 8 (size 4 pant) to 24 (size 20 pant) in store. For our Mothers selection, we have sizes 12 (size 8 pant) to 24 (size 20 pant) in store. Keep in mind that most of our customers order gowns specifically for their size instead of purchasing off of the floor and so our "in stock" sizing is meant to give you a very close representation of how the gown will look on you. We measure  you at the time of your purchase for a close fit that is made precise by alterations (see below) after the dress arrives. We can order sizes outside of these ranges for most dresses that we carry.

  

How far in advance should I start looking for my dress?

    We recommend beginning to look for your dress about a year or more in advance, as dresses can take 6 to 9 months to come in. If you have a shorter time frame, no worries!  We have rush and off the floor options for our brides as well.  When it comes to ordering bridesmaids and mothers dresses, we would recommend placing your order around 5 to 6 months before the wedding.  There is also a rush option for bridesmaids and mothers dresses as well.  Feel free to stop by our store and pick up one of our Wedding Attire Timeline refrigerator magnets so you can keep this schedule somewhere you will see it often!

What should I bring to my bridal appointment? 

    We want you to be comfortable getting in and out of the dresses at your appointment, so unless there is a specific heel height you would want to see the dress with, feel free to leave the heels at home!  Bringing a strapless bra is helpful, but if you don't have one, we have a few in store that you are welcome to use.  If you are planning on wearing shape-wear with your dress, you can bring that to your appointment if that makes you feel more comfortable.  We serve a glass of champagne at our Bridal appointments and we ask that guests please refrain from bringing outside food or beverage.

 

How do alterations work?

    While we have several seamstresses we can recommend and two who can meet you at our store for your convenience, Blush Bridal does not keep any seamstresses on our staff. That means all alteration work is being completed and paid for through a third party. We would recommend you start the alteration process about eight to ten weeks before your wedding by contacting the seamstress of your choice to discuss timing, pricing, and to set up your alteration appointments. You are more than welcome to take your purchase anywhere you prefer for your alterations.
