Tell us a little of your love story!

We had many crossing paths throughout our lives, such as going to the same high school, the same church, and our best friends being siblings. With the age difference, we never really connected through those crossing paths. Back in 2015, we ended up working at the same company but different departments. Tyler would come over to my department to look for assistance and he caught my eye. I would tell my best friend how cute I thought he was. We would all hang out in a group together and spent more and more time together between work and in those group settings. We decided to see where this would take us and here we are today.

As a bride, you have many options when it comes to where you look for your wedding dress. What brought you to Blush Bridal and what was the experience like finding your dress?

I met the ladies from Blush Bridal at the Best Wedding Showcase at the Marriott. I scheduled an appointment that day to check out their selection. I had checked out two other bridal shops prior to my appointment at Blush. There were a few contenders but they just did not feel right. From the moment I walked into Blush Bridal, I felt so welcome. They have the cutest shop. I worked with Danielle and she was so helpful and patient throughout the entire process of selecting my dress. I was not quite ready to commit without approval from my Dad. They were super accommodating to take me in for another appointment for the next day. Coming back the next day, they were, again, welcoming and made sure my entire group was comfortable. That day I said "yes to the dress" and had absolutely no regrets!

What were your favorite details about your dress?

I absolutely loved my dress. It was just the right mix of simple but dramatic. It was also a stretchy and light fabric that was perfect for dancing the night away. My favorite details were definitely the back strap details with the open back and the train.

Tell us about the inspiration for your flowers, decor, or any other fun details!

We were being really budget conscious with all of our flowers and décor. We gave our florist free range on our flowers but provided a few photos to give some inspiration. We cut back on a lot of details because wanted to splurge on a honeymoon.

What was your favorite part about your wedding day?

The day was so perfect, it is hard to select just one moment to be my favorite. Being able to marry my best friend surrounded by so much love and support from our family and friends made us realize how blessed we were. The entire day was just so joyful and memorable.

What advice would you give to other brides as they search for their dream dress and prepare for their big day?

Enjoy every moment throughout the entire process of being a bride. The day flies by and will be the best day of your life. Take it all in and enjoy all the love that is surrounding you that day. Don’t worry yourself out about the little things. They are not worth the stress.
