In this post, we have the honor of sharing the absolutely, stunning wedding day of Lindsay and Josh Meunier.
We first met Lindsay in October 2016. Her sweet and laid back personality made an instant impression on us! We quickly learned of her love for her then, future husband Josh and the special connection she had with her family and friends. Below, we share some snapshots of her exquisite day along with a fun Q&A! We hope you enjoy this post as much as we enjoyed working with this lovely bride.
1. As a bride, you have several choices in the area to find your wedding gown. What brought you to Blush Bridal?
Honestly, they were having a mega sale on their demo dresses! I did not think I was going to find my gown that day, but I did! And guess what? It wasn't even one of the sale dresses I came for. The team there was amazing and I absolutely loved that they were family owned. I knew my dress was there as soon as I started talking to Alissa and the story behind the store.
2. In a few words, can you tell us how you and your husband met?
My husband and I grew up in the same neighborhood and were high school sweet hearts! I was 15 when I first told him I loved him. Who knows what love is at 15? I guess we do, because we haven’t skipped a beat since!
3. How did you know which dress was the one for you?
I was between 2 dresses. My dress and the one that was on the inventory sale! I put them each on twice and the second time I put my dress on I started bawling! That is when I knew I found the one!
4. What was your favorite part of the wedding?
I just loved the overwhelming amount of support, love, and happiness that we had throughout our special day. But my favorite moment was when I turned the corner to walk down the aisle and Josh (my husband) and I met eyes. In that moment, all of the anxiousness went away and everyone around us disappeared. It was such an intimate moment within a crowd of people who we love. It was the most amazing feeling and moment of my life!
5. Where was your wedding held?
We were married in Lebanon, PA at Brasenhill Mansion.
6. What advice would you give brides as they are preparing for their wedding?
My biggest advice for a bride while planning their wedding is to take it one step at a time and enjoy the process. Have FUN planning your wedding instead of stressing over details. Everything will fall into place- just enjoy the season of engagement!
7. What words of wisdom would you pass onto brides for their wedding day?
You finally made it. All of that planning, details, seating charts, etc. and the day is finally here! My biggest advice for when you reach your wedding day is to remind yourself what brought you there. Don’t stress about things going right or wrong- at the end of the day you get the husband of your dreams, which is the best gift. If you find yourself unable to relax, flood your mind with memories of you and your soon to be husband! And trust me, all of the anxiousness goes away as soon as you see your man at the end of the aisle waiting to promise his love to you forever! Congrats!
