Tell us how you and Aron met and share a bit about your love story
Aron and I met in 2012 at our part-time job in high school, the carwash! Numbers were exchanged and a first date took place with dinner and a movie. We were 15 and 17 years old! As kids, we never thought we’d end up marrying each other. We both grew up very differently and had different cultures and backgrounds-which is what I think attracted us both. We learned (and are still) learning so much from one another.
On December 21, 2019, Aron took me on a spontaneous trip to Washington D.C. We visited museums, botanical gardens, shopped at small holiday markets, and even ice-skated for the first time. We were tourists for the day; it was fun! To end the night, we attended the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze, Enchanted Christmas, which was held at Nationals Park baseball stadium. The whole stadium was filled with various Christmas light mazes, ice rinks, and local shops/vendors-I’d never seen anything like it! I was amazed the entire night. At the end of one of the mazes, Aron caught me off guard and proposed. I had absolutely no clue-which is shocking because Aron is terrible at surprises ha-ha!
How did you discover Blush Bridal and tell us about your experience?
Blush Bridal is located down the street from my childhood home, so I am pretty familiar with the area. I remember thinking how beautiful the dresses were every time I came to shop in the plaza. Little did I know I’d be finding my wedding dress so close to home. Sydney was my bridal consultant; she did an amazing job of narrowing down what I did and did not like as far as style and material. She was able to make great suggestions.
How did you know that your dress was THE one?
After visiting multiple bridal shops and trying on numerous different dresses, I found a dress that I felt beautiful in. It was a little different than what I had envisioned, but I felt confident in it and knew it was for me!
What advice would you share with brides-to-be when shopping for their dream dress?
Keep an open mind when trying on dresses. I ended up falling in love with a dress that I never thought I’d choose.
Where did you get married?
We got married at SUPPLY in Manheim, PA.
Any piece of advice you could give to brides when planning your wedding?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. As much as we plan every detail to make sure the wedding day is perfect, some things aren’t going to go as planned. It’s important to remember what the day is really about- marrying your best friend!
What was your favorite detail about your wedding?
Aron and I had a private last dance before our big send off for the night. It was a special moment for us to enjoy the last few minutes of our wedding day.
Anything else you want brides to know about wedding dress, wedding day, planning?
To minimize stress, I highly recommend having a wedding coordinator. My coordinator Ariel from B.R. Dillon Enterprises kept me on track months leading up to the big day. She filled in gaps that I overlooked and kept the wedding day flowing flawlessly.
